Fixing common problems

  1. Too dark (underexposed): raise brightness by 15–30 and add a little contrast.
  2. Washed out: add contrast and saturation.
  3. Blue indoor or shade photos: add warmth.
  4. Yellow indoor lighting: reduce warmth.
  5. Busy colors: lower saturation or try black & white.

Frequently asked questions

Does editing reduce my photo's resolution?

No. The preview is scaled down for speed, but the download is processed at the original full resolution.

How do I make a photo black and white?

Click the 'Black & white' filter. You can then fine-tune contrast and brightness, for example adding contrast for a more dramatic look.

Can I undo a change?

Double-click any slider to reset it, or click 'Original' to remove all adjustments. Your original file is never modified.

Why doesn't my edited photo look identical on another device?

Screens differ in brightness and color calibration. If colors matter (for printing, for example), check the result on the device or printer you'll use.

Are my images uploaded?

Most image tools run in your browser. Only Word→JPG, JPG→Word and JPG→HEIC send the file to our server, where it is processed and deleted right away.

Can I convert several images at once?

Yes. Drop multiple files and download them one by one or as a ZIP.

Will converting reduce quality?

Lossless formats like PNG keep full quality. For JPG and WebP you can pick the quality level yourself.
