About the Keyboard Tester
Press each key to check it works. Keys light up as you press them and stay marked once tested, so you can spot dead or stuck keys. You'll also see key codes and how many keys your keyboard registers at once.
Key features
- Full-size layout with function keys, navigation and numpad
- Keys light up while pressed and stay marked once tested
- Count of tested keys
- Most keys registered at once (rollover)
- key, code, keyCode and location for every press
- Works with laptop, mechanical and wireless keyboards
Find dead, stuck or ghosting keys
Press every key on your keyboard. Keys turn blue while held and green once tested, so it's easy to see which ones haven't registered. Use it after spilling a drink, before buying a used laptop, or when a key seems unreliable.
