Tips

  1. Order matters: use the arrows to put images in reading order.
  2. Matching sizes keep rows and columns tidy.
  3. Spacing of 10–20 px with a white background gives a clean collage look.
  4. Transparent background works for logos and graphics (saved as PNG).

Before & after recipe

  1. Add the before and after photos (same framing if possible).
  2. Choose Side by side, spacing 10 px.
  3. Download, then label with Add Text to Image.

Split an image into a grid, crop images to the same framing first, or add a border.

Frequently asked questions

How do I put two pictures side by side?

Add both images, choose 'Side by side' and download. With 'Make sizes match' on, both are scaled to the same height so they line up neatly.

Can I make a before-and-after image?

Yes. Add the 'before' photo first and the 'after' photo second, choose Side by side, and add some spacing. Use Add Text to Image afterwards to label them.

Is there a size limit?

Up to 30 images per merge. Very large results are scaled down to about 80 megapixels so they can be saved by the browser.

What does 'Make sizes match' do?

Side by side, it scales images to the same height; stacked, to the same width; in a grid, it fits each image into equal cells. Turn it off to keep original sizes.

Are my images uploaded?

Most image tools run in your browser. Only Word→JPG, JPG→Word and JPG→HEIC send the file to our server, where it is processed and deleted right away.

Can I convert several images at once?

Yes. Drop multiple files and download them one by one or as a ZIP.

Will converting reduce quality?

Lossless formats like PNG keep full quality. For JPG and WebP you can pick the quality level yourself.
