Minify JSON by removing whitespace and line breaks. Reduce payload size instantly and see how many bytes you saved.

JSON Cleaner

Clean JSON online: remove null values, empty strings, empty arrays and objects, then format the result. Free JSON cleanup tool.

JSON Sorter

Sort JSON object keys alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A), recursively through nested objects. Makes JSON diffs and reviews easier.

JSON Compare

Compare two JSON documents and see added, removed and changed values with their paths. Key order is ignored. Free online JSON diff.

JSON Syntax Highlighter

Highlight JSON syntax with colors for keys, strings, numbers and booleans. Copy as HTML to embed highlighted JSON in docs and blogs.

JSON Parser

Parse JSON strings online, including escaped or stringified JSON, and inspect the resulting structure. Free JSON parse tool.

JSON to XML

Convert JSON to well-formed XML online. Choose the root element name and indentation. Free and runs in your browser.

JSON to YAML

Convert JSON to YAML instantly. Clean, readable YAML output for Kubernetes, Docker Compose, CI configs and more.

JSON to HTML

Convert JSON to an HTML table online. Arrays of objects become tables and nested data becomes nested tables. Copy the HTML or preview it.

JSON to CSV

Convert JSON arrays to CSV. Nested objects are flattened to dot-notation columns. Choose the delimiter and download a .csv file.

JSON to TSV

Convert JSON arrays to TSV (tab-separated values) online. Nested fields are flattened. Paste straight into spreadsheets.

JSON to Text

Convert JSON to readable plain text with key: value lines. Great for emails, reports and quick reading.

JSON to Base64

Encode JSON to Base64 (standard or URL-safe), with full UTF-8 support. Optionally minify first. Free and private.

Base64 to JSON

Decode Base64 (standard or URL-safe) back to formatted JSON. Validates the decoded result instantly.

JSON URL Encode

URL-encode JSON so it can be passed safely in query strings. Optionally minify first. Free online percent-encoder.

JSON URL Decode

Decode URL-encoded (percent-encoded) JSON back into readable, formatted JSON. Free online tool.

JSON Decode

Decode JSON-encoded strings into plain text or objects. Resolves \n, \", \u escape sequences. Free JSON decoder.

JSON Encode

Encode any text or JSON into a JSON string literal with proper escaping. Free online JSON encoder.

JSON Deserialize

Deserialize JSON into an object and inspect its fields, types and structure. Handles nested, escaped and stringified JSON.

JSON Serialize

Serialize JSON or a JavaScript object literal into a compact JSON string, ready to send in requests or store.

JSON Stringify

Convert JSON into an escaped string with JSON.stringify, ready to embed in code, configs or other JSON documents.

JSON Unstringify

Convert a stringified (escaped) JSON string back into formatted JSON. Handles multiple levels of escaping.

JSON to Excel

Convert JSON arrays to an Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx). Nested fields are flattened to columns. Free, no upload.

Excel to JSON

Convert Excel (.xlsx, .xls) and CSV files to JSON. Pick a sheet, use the first row as keys, and download the JSON.

JSON Escape / Unescape

Escape special characters for JSON strings, or unescape them back. Handles quotes, backslashes, newlines and Unicode.

A complete JSON toolkit in your browser

JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is the language of modern software. APIs, configuration files, databases, logs and AI tools all speak it. These tools cover the whole lifecycle of working with JSON: checking it, reading it, fixing it, reshaping it and converting it to other formats. Everything runs locally, so production data, access tokens and customer records never leave your device.

The five rules of valid JSON

  1. Keys and strings use double quotes: "name", never 'name'.
  2. No trailing commas after the last item.
  3. No comments.
  4. Only true, false, null, numbers, strings, arrays and objects are allowed; there's no undefined, NaN or dates.
  5. Special characters in strings must be escaped: \", \\, \n.

Most "invalid JSON" errors break one of these rules. Read our guide How to Validate and Format JSON for examples and fixes.

Frequently asked questions

Is my JSON uploaded to a server?

No. All JSON tools run entirely in your browser, so your data never leaves your device.

Is there a size limit?

There is no fixed limit. Files of several megabytes work fine; very large files depend on your device's memory.

Do I need an account?

No. Every JSON tool is free and works without signing up.
