Tips to click faster

  • Rest your wrist and click with your fingertip, not your whole hand.
  • Try butterfly clicking with your index and middle fingers.
  • Use a light mouse with responsive switches.
  • Warm up: scores improve after a few attempts.

Fast clicking strains your hand and wrist. Take breaks, and stop if it hurts.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good CPS score?

Most people click about 5–7 times per second. 8–10 CPS is fast, and above 10 usually needs special techniques like jitter or butterfly clicking.

What are jitter and butterfly clicking?

Jitter clicking tenses the arm to vibrate the finger on the button. Butterfly clicking alternates two fingers on the same button. Both can exceed 10 CPS; drag clicking can go higher on some mice.

Why does CPS matter in games?

In games like Minecraft PvP, faster clicking means more attacks or block placements. In most other games, accuracy and timing matter more than raw speed.

Is my best score saved?

Yes, in your browser on this device, separately for each test length. It's not uploaded or shared.

Are my camera and microphone recorded?

No. Audio and video are processed live in your browser and never uploaded. The only recording is the optional 5-second mic playback, which stays on your device and disappears when you leave the page.

Why does my browser ask for permission?

Browsers require your permission before any site can use your camera or microphone. You can revoke it at any time from the icon in the address bar.

Do these tests work on phones?

Most do: mic, webcam, speaker, screen, reaction time and click tests work on phones and tablets. The keyboard, mouse and gamepad testers need those devices connected.
