Make PNG images web-ready

PNG files are great for quality but often far too heavy for websites. Converting them to WebP keeps them sharp and transparent while cutting file size dramatically, which improves page speed and Core Web Vitals scores.

Why WebP speeds up websites

Page with 10 imagesTotal size
PNG~5 MB
WebP (quality 85)~1–2 MB

Smaller images mean faster loading, better mobile experience and better search rankings, since page speed is a Google ranking signal.

Using WebP on your site

</picture>

All modern browsers support WebP directly, so a plain <img src="logo.webp"> works too.

Frequently asked questions

How much smaller will my images be?

Often 25–80% smaller than PNG, depending on the image. Photos and complex graphics shrink the most; simple flat-color graphics shrink less.

Do all browsers support WebP?

Yes. Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari (since version 14) and all major mobile browsers display WebP.

What quality should I use?

80–90% looks virtually identical to the original for most images. Lower values make smaller files but can blur fine edges in logos and text.

Is transparency kept?

Yes. WebP supports full alpha transparency, so logos and icons keep their transparent backgrounds.

Are my images uploaded?

Most image tools run in your browser. Only Word→JPG, JPG→Word and JPG→HEIC send the file to our server, where it is processed and deleted right away.

Can I convert several images at once?

Yes. Drop multiple files and download them one by one or as a ZIP.

Will converting reduce quality?

Lossless formats like PNG keep full quality. For JPG and WebP you can pick the quality level yourself.
