Repeat each line of a list

Spreadsheet work and test-data prep often need every item in a list repeated a fixed number of times, for example each product for every size, each employee for every month, or each variant for every store. Row Repeater does it instantly in two patterns.

Building a product × size matrix

  1. Repeat your products grouped ×4.
  2. Repeat your sizes (S, M, L, XL) cycled ×(number of products).
  3. Paste both columns side by side in a spreadsheet: every product now has every size.

Repeat a whole block with the Text Repeater, shuffle rows with Sort Text Lines (Random), or wrap rows in quotes with the String Builder.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between grouped and cycled?

Grouped repeats each line before moving to the next (Red, Red, Green, Green). Cycled repeats the whole list in order (Red, Green, Red, Green).

How is this different from the Text Repeater?

Text Repeater repeats the whole input as one block. Row Repeater treats each line separately, which is what you need for lists and spreadsheet columns.

Can I paste the result into Excel or Google Sheets?

Yes. Each output line becomes one row when pasted into a column.

Are blank lines repeated?

No. Empty lines are skipped so they don't create gaps.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. All text tools run locally in your browser.

Do these tools support Unicode?

Yes. They handle Unicode text, including emoji and accented characters.
