Frequently asked questions

What is keyword density?

The percentage of words in a text that are a given word. If 'coffee' appears 12 times in 600 words, its density is 2%.

What's an ideal keyword density for SEO?

There's no magic number. Modern search engines reward natural writing; a main keyword around 0.5–2% is typical. Much higher can read as keyword stuffing.

What are stop words?

Very common words like the, and, of and to that carry little meaning. Filtering them out makes the important words stand out.

Is counting case-sensitive?

No. Words are lowercased before counting, so 'Coffee' and 'coffee' count together.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. All text tools run locally in your browser.

Do these tools support Unicode?

Yes. They handle Unicode text, including emoji and accented characters.
