    Combine PDF files in seconds

Merging PDFs is one of the most common document tasks: assembling a job application (CV, cover letter, certificates), combining scanned pages, joining invoices for accounting, or packaging chapters into one report. Merge PDF does it instantly, privately and without watermarks.

    How to merge PDFs

    1. Drop two or more PDF files into the upload area (add more at any time).
    2. Check the thumbnails and use the ↑ ↓ arrows to put the files in order.
    3. Click Merge PDFs. Your merged file downloads automatically.

    Why merge in the browser?

    Files uploaded to a server❌ Never✅ Usually
    Watermark❌Sometimes
    Daily file limits❌Often
    Account required❌Often for large files
    Quality loss❌ Pages copied as-isSometimes re-compressed

Merging runs locally using the open-source pdf-lib library, so even confidential contracts, medical records and financial statements never leave your computer.

    Practical examples

    • Job applications: CV + cover letter + references as a single attachment.
    • Visa and loan applications: bank statements, payslips and IDs in the required order.
    • Accounting: monthly invoices and receipts in one file.
    • School and university: assignment pages, scans and appendices.
    • Legal: contract plus signed annexes.

    Tips

    • Name your files numerically (01-cv.pdf, 02-letter.pdf) before dropping them in, to get the right order immediately.
    • Images to merge? Convert them with JPG to PDF first, then merge.
    • Remove unwanted pages afterwards with Remove PDF Pages.
    • Need a smaller file? Avoid scanning at very high resolution; 150–200 DPI is plenty for documents.

Do the opposite with Split PDF, or pick specific pages with Extract PDF Pages.

How to use the Merge PDF

    1. Drag and drop your files into the upload area, or click Choose files.
    2. Set any options, such as quality, page size or page ranges.
    3. Click the convert button. Processing happens right in your browser.
    4. Download each result individually, or all of them as a ZIP.

    Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit on the number of files or pages?

No fixed limit. Merging happens in your browser, so very large jobs (hundreds of MB) depend on your device's memory.

    Will the quality change?

No. Pages are copied directly into the new document without re-rendering or re-compressing, so text, images and vector graphics stay exactly as they were.

    Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Encrypted PDFs may fail to merge or produce blank pages. Remove the password in a PDF reader first (you'll need the password), then merge.

Are links and form fields kept?

Page content is copied, including most internal links and annotations. Interactive form fields and bookmarks from the original files may not carry over.

    Do you add a watermark?

No. The output files are clean and have no watermark.

    Are my PDFs stored?

Merge, split, extract and remove run in your browser. Word/PowerPoint conversions are processed on our server and deleted immediately afterwards.

    Is there a page limit?

No hard limit. Very large files may take longer depending on your device.
