  • Finds files untouched for years
  • Moves files to the recycle bin
  • Runs in your browser; nothing stored on our servers

Clear out a full OneDrive

The free 5 GB of OneDrive fills up quickly, especially with camera uploads and desktop backups. The cleaner finds duplicate files across all your folders, the biggest files and files you haven't touched in years, so you can free space without upgrading.

Where duplicates come from

  • Camera upload on more than one phone
  • Backing up the Desktop and Documents folders, plus copying them manually
  • Downloading the same attachment several times
  • Restoring an old backup alongside your current files

Tips

  1. Review the Duplicates tab first: every copy except the oldest is pre-selected.
  2. Check the folder shown under each file to decide which copy to keep.
  3. After cleaning, empty the Recycle bin in OneDrive to free the space.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to connect my OneDrive?

The cleaner talks to Microsoft directly from your browser. Your file list never reaches our servers, your sign-in is forgotten when you close the page, and nothing is removed unless you select it and confirm. You can remove access any time at account.microsoft.com under Privacy → Apps and services.

Does it work with work or school accounts?

Yes, if your organisation allows users to approve apps. Some organisations require an administrator to approve new apps first.

How does it find duplicates?

OneDrive stores a content hash for each file. Files with the same hash and size have identical content, even if they have different names or are in different folders.

When is the space freed?

Deleted files stay in the OneDrive recycle bin, and personal accounts keep them for 30 days before they're removed. Empty the recycle bin to free the space immediately.

Are the random results fair?

Yes. The wheel, random number generator, coin flip and dice use your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with unbiased sampling, so every outcome is equally likely.

Do these tools work offline or on my phone?

They run entirely in your browser and work on phones, tablets and computers. Once a page has loaded, most tools keep working without a connection.

Is anything I type saved on your servers?

No. The notepad saves notes only in your own browser's local storage, and nothing else you enter is stored.
