Frequently asked questions

How do I measure my ring size at home?

Measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits you, or wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps and measure the length (the circumference). Enter either one in millimetres.

What is the most common ring size?

Around US 6–7 for women and US 9–10 for men, but fingers vary widely.

What does the EU ring size mean?

European (ISO) ring sizes are the inside circumference in millimetres, rounded: a size 54 ring has an inside circumference of about 54 mm.

When is the best time to measure?

At the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and not when your hands are cold. If you're between sizes, choose the larger one.

Why do land units like marla and bigha have different sizes?

They're traditional units that were standardized differently in different places. A marla is 272.25 sq ft in revenue records but 225 sq ft in many Lahore housing societies, and a bigha varies widely between Indian states. The converters let you choose the size used in your area.

Are size charts the same for every brand?

No. The charts use common international equivalents, but brands can differ by up to half a shoe size or one clothing size. Check the brand's own chart when you can.

Do these converters work offline?

Yes. Once a page has loaded, every converter works in your browser without a connection.
