Frequently asked questions

How do I work out my cycle length?

Count from the first day of one period to the day before the next one starts. Track a few cycles and take the average; a normal cycle is 21–35 days.

Is it normal for my period to be late?

Cycles often vary by a few days. Stress, illness, travel, weight changes and hormonal conditions can delay a period. If you might be pregnant, take a test.

When should I see a doctor?

If your periods are regularly shorter than 21 or longer than 35 days, last more than 7 days, are very heavy or painful, or stop for 3 months or more without pregnancy.

Is my data saved?

No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing is stored or sent anywhere.

Are these calculators medical advice?

No. They give general estimates based on established formulas. Talk to a doctor, registered dietitian or qualified coach about your own health, diet or training.

Is my health information stored?

No. Every calculation runs in your browser, and nothing you enter is sent to a server or saved.

Can I use pounds and feet?

Yes. The calculators that need height or weight let you switch between metric (cm, kg) and imperial (ft, in, lb) units.
