Frequently asked questions

How do I make a blank name?

Copy the Hangul Filler (U+3164) and paste it as your name. Many apps and games accept it as a blank name; if one doesn't, try the Braille Pattern Blank (U+2800).

Can I send an empty message?

Many messaging apps don't allow completely empty messages, but sending a Braille Pattern Blank or Hangul Filler character looks empty.

What is a zero-width space?

An invisible character (U+200B) that takes up no space. It's used to allow line breaks in long words, but it can also hide in copied text and break searches, passwords or code.

Why does my text contain hidden characters?

Copying from websites, PDFs, chat apps or word processors can bring along zero-width spaces, non-breaking spaces or text-direction marks. Paste your text into the checker to find and remove them.

Do I need to log in to my social accounts?

No. None of these tools connect to your accounts or ask for passwords. They work on the text and numbers you enter, in your browser.

Are the platform limits up to date?

They reflect each platform's published limits as of 2026. Platforms change their rules from time to time, so check the platform if a post is rejected.

Is anything I type saved?

No. Only small conveniences, such as your recently used emoji, are remembered in your own browser.
